Overview

Vyst is designed with privacy in mind. Your notes are your own and stay on your devices. We don't collect, store, or have access to your personal content.

What We Don't Collect

• We don't collect your notes or any content you write
• We don't collect personal information like your name or email
• We don't track your location
• We don't sell any data to third parties

Data Storage

Your notes are stored locally on your device and synced via iCloud if you have it enabled. This sync is handled entirely by Apple's iCloud service. We don't have access to your iCloud data.

Anonymous Analytics

We collect minimal, anonymous analytics to help improve the app. This includes:

• App opens and basic usage events
• Device type and iOS version (to ensure compatibility)
• App version

This data is not linked to your identity and cannot be used to identify you. No content from your notes is ever collected or transmitted.

Third-Party Services

Vyst uses Apple's iCloud for syncing notes between your devices. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for information about how iCloud handles your data.

AI Polish Feature

Vyst offers an optional AI-powered polish feature that can help refine your writing. When you choose to use this feature, your text is sent to a third-party AI service for processing.

• Your text is only sent when you explicitly tap the polish button — never automatically
• We do not read, store, or have access to the text you send for polishing
• Your data is not used to train any AI models
• The third-party service processes your text solely to generate the polished result and does not retain it

If you prefer not to use this feature, you can simply ignore it. No data is ever sent without your explicit action.
